Asset Marking & Tracking

DATAMARK was started to permanently mark assets in the agricultural sector. No matter the type or size of your business, the ability to tag assets and continually track them is important. Not only is asset marking and tracking a gateway to identifying the number of assets you have, but it also allows businesses to benefit in several other ways.

The Benefits

  • Maintain an accurate asset register: by marking assets owned by the company and tracking their movement you can be sure that your asset list is a true reflection of your balance sheet.
  • Save time and resources locating equipment: in a working environment that is packed full of moveable assets and spread across multiple sites, manually searching for a specific asset can be a time-consuming process. But, by utilising asset tagging, each asset that has been affixed with a tag can be identified and found instantly.
  • Reduce costs associated with loss and theft: a key advantage for marking assets is to ensure their whereabouts is known at all times. By having this information readily available in an asset register, businesses can eliminate the risk of losing assets.

The Execution

DATAMARK move on site and mark all assets identified in the asset register for marking with non-transferable uniquely numbered QR-coded labels. System implementation, daily operations and ongoing activities are non-invasive and will not disrupt your operation. DATAMARK permanently station their own staff on site to mark components and conduct daily inspections moving through various locations to verify that assets are where they are supposed to be. This “continuous stock-taking” allows DATAMARK to pick up any unrecorded movement of assets. Exceptions are reported as they occur so your line management can act decisively. A customised report pack is supplied monthly to summarise monthly activities for high-level management.
